Visiting the Monk ~0)

…When I parked my truck at the bottom of the hill, looked upon the lengthy bit of uphill sidewalk I was going have to trek over to reach her apartment, something occurred to me.

what not to do

When doing line edits on a book-length manuscript (we’re talking 344 pages here – at least), always type as you go. At least that was always my hard and fast rule. I’d do the edits on the hardcopy, then type them in when I reached the end of each chapter. I didn’t do that with Heir. For some ungodly, twisted reason, I worked my way through the entire manuscript. Now it’s sitting here in clips waiting to be typed in. :smash: I knocked out 20 pages tonight, but still…I know better. I totally and completely know better. Someone please remind me of this when I get to Elders, please? :warped:

Or something.
