Preston ran up to CVS earlier to get me some cold medicine and returned with not only that but an early Mother’s Day card. Of course, I didn’t know it was a Mother’s Day card until I opened it. I said, “But isn’t it awfully early for Mother’s Day?” and he said, “Just read it and what I wrote inside.” “But it’s pink,” I said. He said, “Just read it. Pink was all I could find that matched what I wanted to say and write. At least I found you a purple envelope to put it in.” So I opened it up.

You sometimes think you are not doing enough for Thomas and Tayler. I need you to know that you are a GREAT mother. You do everything you can and more for them I know this is way early, but you need to KNOW this now and every day for the rest of your life. I love you so much.
