hand shaped biscuits

So back in the Winter, I read a story for Baker of Toasted Cheese fame. Excellent story. But one of the things that has stuck with me all this time is the image of the main character hand shaping biscuits. I finally broke down and tried this morning. This is the result, and yes, they were as yummy as they look:

Very soft. Like little clouds. They were delicious. I'm going to have to make them like this more often – usually I just do "dropped" and go on.

Right after I made my Kentucky biscuits, I made some blueberry jam and some jalapeño pineapple jelly–the biscuits were fabulously tasty smothered in butter and those jams. :)

(Not together, I ate the jams on different biscuits. LOL)
