saying this one last time

Am going to say this now and hopefully never again. But…

It’s like this people.

If you’re following more people than are following you on Utterli, Twitter, or wherever I happen to receive a request from you – I won’t follow you back. Period.

  1. That's fair but don't forget to consider the content. The more you follow on a particular subject matter, the better your understanding of the happenings related to that subject matter. See Can you rely on Twitter for breaking news?

As an example, I follow a lot of people in Knoxville that look like they tried Twitter and quit. They may not be following me back but instead of removing them, I continue to follow in case they do start using Twitter and post relevant Knoxville information. Doing that puts me in danger of having an odd following to follower ratio (although that hasn't happened yet).

  2. Touche, Doug. You got me on that one. Yes, I do consider content – especially when it comes to news outlets. When it's obvious spammers, not so much! :)
