midnight line edits

Preston typed in the last half of Chapter Seven for me the other night to prevent me from becoming a sobbing mess – like I was the day back in late July when I edited those pages in the first place. After not doing line edits on anything since the end of July, this week I’ve managed to catch myself up. I’m sitting here getting ready to start on Chapter Thirteen. That leaves Chapter Fourteen and the one page Epilogue to edit. Then, the fun of typing in all these edits…

:waves a hand around: All for good cause! All for good cause!

Then I get to start on Heir – which I’m actually looking forward to! (please remind me of this when I’m sitting here this time next week weeping, plzktx!:foot:)

Appalachian gothic fiction writer - my works reflect a love of literature flavored by the darkness and magic residing in these ancient mountains. In my spare time, I'm a Simmer, I tumbl, I journal, but I always have a very strange sense of humor. I have lived away from the mountains and lived deep in the mountains. I currently live in Central Kentucky with my lifepartner and his cat. The mountains, their culture, their superstitions, their particular magics, will always be in my blood.
