voice blogging (podcast, maybe?)

I had the brilliant idea when I was in Harlan in February to take up Jan’s advice and commit some of my better, favorite childhood memories to paper. She said I needed to write them down to they could be saved, even if I only ever saved them in with my family tree records. So I thought, well she has a point there. But I wanted to wait until Thomas was gone and my head was as screwed back on as it was ever going to get.

The other day I got out my webcam and got it all set up. I wouldn’t ever made video logs (vlogs), but it’s got a great microphone, and I thought I might use it to make recordings of those memories. Now I just have to convince myself to do it. Have any of you ever done anything like this or know anyone who has?

Appalachian gothic fiction writer - my works reflect a love of literature flavored by the darkness and magic residing in these ancient mountains. In my spare time, I'm a Simmer, I tumbl, I journal, but I always have a very strange sense of humor. I have lived away from the mountains and lived deep in the mountains. I currently live in Central Kentucky with my lifepartner and his cat. The mountains, their culture, their superstitions, their particular magics, will always be in my blood.
